Walt Disney World Vacation Guide - 1980

The Walt Disney World Vacation Guide was a regular Disney offering for years in the pre-Internet days. A comprehensive guide to everything in the resort, with color photographs and details about each on the Disney resorts, as well as shopping, dining, recreation, and more.

This issue was published in 1980 and includes a 12 page Vacation Information packet stapled inside the center of the large color brochure.  There is a mention of the soon to be completed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad inside the guide, and one of the more visually interesting maps of the full resort in the back of the magazine.

Walt Disney World Vacation Information Packet - 1986

Disney world used to put together a thorough Vacation Information pamphlet. In some years this was included as an insert in larger Vacation Guides (which also including color photos of the parks and resorts).

Walt Disney World Star Spangled Summer Brochure and Information Guide - 1985

Back in the old days, before you could read what was happening in the parks almost in real time, you had to write to Disney and ask them to send you marketing materials.

Fortunately for you, some of us saved some of these items, like this brochure highlighting what to expect from 1985's Star Spangled Summer in Walt Disney World!

But, wait, there's more. Disney also included a four page Information Guide, with some of the information that used to be included as an insert into older Vacation Guides and a list of prices for Disney resorts through the end of the year.
